Back to some DDO.

and back to some streaming. It's been a rough few months. Between a loss in the family, an increasingly terrible internet service, and a deteriorating career, it's been a struggle.

I changed providers, and it appears all is well with playing games and streaming. The old provider would disconnect randomly, sometimes for five minutes, sometimes for five hours. The last week we had it, we had no service for four of those days.

My stepfather passed away at the end of March. It's been...not good. But a tiny bit better as time goes on.

I left Walgreens after 19 years and 7 months. The company's actions over the last few months left me in search of another career. My boss's actions in the last month sped up the resignation and, well, sometimes you have to do what is best, and staying there was not in my best interests any longer.

I'm not sure what the future holds at this point. I've no intention of retiring yet, I've still got a ways to go. But for now, things are looking up.
